Can I order the E-books as a hard copy?

At this time all of my books are only available as e-books (electronic books), not print books. The e-books are designed to be viewed on a computer, iPad, tablet or large-screen smartphone. This keeps costs down for me as well as my customers and allows me to add more information, examples and photos than I could in a hard copy due to printing costs.

Can I print your E-books for my own use?

You are able to print your e-book using your own printer as long as it is for your personal use only. I suggest printing in black and white to save on printing costs. Simply open your book in pdf format and then choose the ‘print' option. It is already formatted ready to print.

How do I open the E-books? – My copy looks ‘weird'!

If you can read the text or everything looks a little jumbled or it just won't open when viewing on your own computer then you may not have a pdf reader installed on your computer.

I recommend you use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app to view your e-book. Other PDF reader apps may work for you, but I have tested all my  e-books in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

How  do I receive my E-book purchase after payment is made?

Once your payment is cleared, you will automatically be sent an email containing a link which you can use to download your e-book. Emails are sent to the email address you entered at the checkout for your purchase, if it isn't entered correctly you will not receive the download emails.

You will need to contact support if you have not received an email within an hour after your purchase (Except if payment was made via direct deposit) Please ensure you have checked in your email spam folder and promotions folder. If you still cannot find your email, then please contact support at [email protected]

Do I receive a certificate if I purchase a recorded training package?

Yes you will access your certificate via a download link included in the workshop package materials.

How do I access the training video after purchase?

Once your payment is cleared, you will automatically be sent an email containing a link which you can use to download your package materials. You will receive a link to a password protected page to view the training video (password included in your materials).

Emails are sent to the email address you entered at the checkout for your purchase, if it isn't entered correctly you will not receive the download emails.

I have logged in to view the video but it won't play for me!

Sometimes depending on your internet speed and connection or your computer browser the video may not show up immediately. I suggest refreshing the page, checking your internet connection or trying a different browser. I use Chrome and find it always plays videos well with little delay.

If you are still having difficulty and have also tried viewing it across different times then please contact support .

How do I open my workshop resource booklet?

I recommend you use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app to view your resource book. Other PDF reader apps may work for you, but I have tested all my  e-books and resource booklets in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

You can print them if you wish by simply selecting the ‘print' option in your PDF reader. I suggest printing in black and white as there are a lot of photo collages in most of the training booklets.

How long is the training and will it count towards my professional development hours?

Training sessions (both live and recorded) are usually around  2 hours in length. You will need to speak to your educational leader, coordinator, centre or scheme to confirm whether they count online training sessions towards official professional development hours.

How long does the training go for?

Training sessions are usually 2 hours in length. I do suggest entering the online training ‘room' at least 15 minutes prior to the official start time to ensure you can check your audio and visual and therefore be ready to start on time.

What will I see on my screen?

You will see a powerpoint presentation just like when you attend a training session in person. Whatever I have showing on my screen you will also see on yours.

Can I view the workshop on my tablet/laptop?

Yes you can, this is usually no problem and many participants use these devices to access the training. You will find instructions for using tablets and ipads in the registration and login emails.

Do I need a microphone?

No you will not need a microphone. I actually have all participants on mute so that I cannot hear everyone's background noises so no need to worry about the noise level or what you are saying on your end!

Will people be able to see me?

No one will be able to see you so feel free to sit back and get comfortable, that's the beauty of online training!

How will I access the training?

You will receive an email from GoToTraining (the provider I use) with a link to click on to enter the training room at the specified time. Simply click and after a short download and connection you will be in the training room and should see the holding screen until the training begins.

What happens if I can't make it to the training but I have already paid?

No problem, I keep a list of those registrants who couldn't attend the session and you will receive a recording of the training to watch in your own time. You will also still receive the certificate and resource booklet. Please contact support if you feel you have been overlooked.

Can I ask questions of the presenter?

There is a chat box to type into during each online session. You can ask questions via the chatbox to the presenter or to other participants if you wish.

Can I return a digital purchase?

As my resources are currently  digital downloads, no, you cannot actually ‘return’ it. But I do offer a 14-day money back guarantee. With a 14-day money back guarantee you can purchase any E-Book or training package today. If you find it isn’t right for you, or not what you feel you ordered you get your money back.

I have been waiting for the postal delivery but still nothing – why?

As resources in my shop are digital downloads you will not receive deliveries via the postal service. All purchases will come to you via an email containing download links to allow you immediate access to your purchases.

As all products clearly state they are digital downloads in the information section before reaching the checkout refunds can not be given if you have mistakenly ordered. Please see question above regarding refunds of digital products.

I don't live in Australia – can I still purchase your resources?

Yes of course, I have people from all over the world purchase my resources – that's the wonderful thing about digital downloads!

All the resources listed on my website are currently priced in AU dollars. Payments for my resources are processed by PayPal which will charge you in your local currency depending upon your location and your PayPal account settings.

I paid via direct bank deposit at the checkout – why haven't I received my purchase yet?

Direct deposits using my bank account details are the only purchase method that do not automatically send download emails out to customer inboxes. This is because I must manually approve your purchase for delivery and this is only done after I confirm your payment has entered my account.

Sometimes this can take a few days from the time you deposit to the time it shows up in my account. If you would like to speed the process up you can email me your bank deposit or electronic transfer receipt so that I know payment has been made. I will then forward the email containing your purchase download link.

I haven't received an email with my purchase download link as stated – what's happened?

This happens quite often so please double check you enter your address correctly!

I tried to pay by credit card but Paypal is asking me to join – do I need to?

If you choose the pay by credit card option at the checkout you will be taken to a Paypal page but there is no need to join Paypal. Look below the listed Paypal option on that page and you will see the Pay by credit card option. Follow those instructions to make your payment.
