Weekly Kid’s Co-Op – Fun with Water & Ice

by The Empowered Educator 8 Comments

Welcome back to my first Weekly Kid’s Co-Op for 2013…i can’t wait to see what fantastic family friendly activities you link up this year!

Here in Australia we are in the midst of our Summer and an awful heatwave…the weather is relentless and i am so grateful that we have lots of shady trees in our yard so that we can still get outside…even though it has to be quite early in the day!

It will come as no surprise then that the toddler twosome have been having a lot of fun with water play! There are so many fun things to do with water…it really is our friend on these hot days when everyone seems to have little patience!

When looking through the fantastic ideas linked up to last week’s Kid’s Co-Op i noticed that many on the other side of the world are having fun with snow and ice! I thought it might be nice to feature some activities that involve ice and water but can be played with no matter where in the world we are….whther we are hot or cold!

So if you are looking for an activity to help the kid’s cool down or to play in the winter snow…this week’s feature has some wonderful ideas that cover all angles! I do hope you visit the blogs featured and are as inspired as i was to get out and play with some ice and water!

Activities don’t need to be fancy or from a large blog….we love to see anything fun you have been making or doing with your child…and hopefully as we visit each other we will make some new friends and find some new ideas to try! Don’t forget to leave a comment on a post you love!
If you need even more inspiration why not have a look at the ideas pinned on the Kid’s Co-Op Pinterest Board! Each week the Co-Hosts will be pinning their favourites to the board which has a large following and thus great exposure for your activity! We’ve been doing the ice play a bit, this heat wave & being 8 months pregnant is really not a good mix
