The world of the toddler is a busy fascinating place….but also often exhausting! With twin 2 yr olds i am always on the lookout for inspiration and ideas to keep them busy while we play at home. A busy (usually messy) toddler is a happy toddler in my book!
Whether you are looking for toddler parenting ideas, toddler craft and play ideas, or something to feed your fussy toddler….i'm sure you will find what you are looking for in my list of favourites below!
If you are a regular reader of Mummy Musings and Mayhem you will know that i enjoy providing activities for my toddler twosome that are easy and usually cost free….with very little set up and clean up required. You will find many similar ideas by visiting the blogs listed below….I do hope you are as inspired as i was when i first found each of these lovely blogs!
If you are a fan of Pinterest then have fun checking out some of the boards below as well…many have an enormous number of pins….and therefore lots of inspiration for the tired …and if anything like me…frazzled parent or carer of toddlers!
Connected Parenting

Jode you’ve done a great job on that list, such a lot of work went into creating that. I’m sure that there will be some very happy toddlers and parents out there doing some of these fun activities you’ve listed, gee this would have been fantastic when I was studying child care back in the day he he:) xx

WOW what a wonderful list you have there! My blog (although not solely on parenting is largely populated with posts on homeschooling and playful learning ideas) http://www.turner08family.wordpress.com Its called Chasing Butterflies ๐ Thanks again for sharing all these great blogs and I cant wait to start going through them!
I follow this one regularly. http://playathomemom3.blogspot.com/
thanks for the mention! when you get feeding toddlers right, your big kids grow into good eaters quite naturally. enjoy feeding your tots y’all. it’s half irritating, half joy and 100% fleeting! my kids are six and eight now, and they rarely want to help me in the kitchen anymore ๐ jenna aka foodwithkidappeal
Great list, I can’t wait to click through and explore!
We’d love for you to link up to our Finished Friday Linky.
This is an odd question but fits in with idea sharing! What are your children exploring
(the blue stuff) in the photo right at the top of this post? It looks very intriguing!
Not odd at all! It’s just my version of soap slime with some blue edicol dye sprinkled over the top that they had fun mixing through! It keeps for ages and they always have heaps of fun with it!You can read more and get the recipe here…http://mummymusingsandmayhem.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/are-they-twins.html

What a fantastic page – have you had a look at http://www.entertainingbabies.com? It is a website that I have only recently set up so it is in its early stages for fun free ideas for games & activities to play with kids. I am also a mum of twins – now 13 months and another one due in about 5 weeks time. I’d love to hear what you think about my website – if you like it maybe we could link to each other?
